Blessed by my Son

Today I'm blessed because my Son has once again helped me get an airline ticket online. All I have to do is ask him to see if he can find a good price and "Presto", he is on the internet searching for me. Once again he has had success. This ticket will get me to Dallas to see him and his family at a very good price. I can hardly wait. He has three energetic little boys that are so fun to be with and a wonderful wife who loves her mother-in-law.

I've gone online before "by mself" and gotten a ticket, but it does take me a while to figure it all out and then find the right airline. All the while I'm a little nervous about it. I think it is "the age factor". I have to keep telling myself that it is no big deal and keep plugging away at working at the computer. I think I'm getting over the fear factor of clicking on something and everything going blank on the screen.

Isn't it great to have children that are always encouraging you to try new things and are there to help you with them. I know my body is growing old (sometimes at a rapid pace) but I don't want to be "old". So, I'll keep learning from both my children and be so thankful the Lord has given them to me.

Mrs. Correll--I just found your blog! I didn't know you had one too! I'll enjoy reading it. I'm so glad that Alysa and you are still in my life after meeting at Moody so long ago (though my mom still has heart failure if I bring up the roadtrip to Canada we girls took!) It is one of God's many blessings to me. I hope you have a wonderful time in Dallas!
