Filing Cabinet

I've been trying to finish emptying the boxes that have Jack's files in them. The two 4 drawer filing cabinets are not enough. Two of these drawers have my files in them also.

Friday I was at Walmart in London and thought that I would see what a two drawer filing cabinet would cost. They had some nice wood ones that looked so much better than the metal ones. Usually they cost quite a bit more. As I was looking at the price, I saw on one of them it said $30.00. I decided to check this price, so I loaded it on my cart and went to look for a price check machine. When I put it under the scanner, it said 20.00. I checked it twice to make sure.

There was another cabinet that I liked even better, so I thought I would just check it out. I do love bargains. It was heavier, but I managed to get it in the cart. A woman came by when I was loading the first one and asked if I needed help loading it. I am a senior citizen but do still have some strength left (probably some pride also), so I said no thank you, very politely.

To my delight this cabinet was also 20.00. So I thought why stop at one, why not get two. I had thought I would have to pay at least 40.00 for a metal one. The original price on the ones that I bought was 59.99 plus tax. Just think how much I saved Jack. My sister Patsy would be so proud of me. I not only get two, but they are wood and look so much better. Of course you have to put them together, but I'm up for a challenge.

It took me about 2 1/2 hours to put the first one together. I do like working with the instructions, because if you don't, you wind up re-doing things. Anyway, I'll post a picture of it so you can see what a good bargain hunter I am.
